Parents  are the most important people in every child’s life. For special needs  children, it is vital for their loved ones and those close to them, to  understand their needs and support them from their childhood through to  adult life.

It may also mean that two different lives need to be combined in order to suit the needs of each member of the family.

Sadly, most parents and carers of children with special educational  needs (SEN), lack the knowledge, understanding and necessary skills to  support their family members with special needs. This has led to a lot  of children with SEN being deprived of the right support or family  advocacy needed to work with schools and professionals.  The KEY to every  child’s development is to have parents or carers who understand their  needs and acquired basic skills to work together with schools and  professionals.

SEN Parenting was established to help parents, families and carers of  special needs individuals to get trained and acquire skills to enhance  their caring roles.

Every child is unique and the same is every family.

SEN parenting was founded by parents of a severely autistic and  disabled child. As special needs parents they have first-hand  knowledge and experience of the stress, frustration and problems most  families like themselves face. They also set up a special needs school  from scratch to support deprived children with SEN. From this, they  understood the benefits of BRIDGING the GAP between Schools,  Professionals and the Home environment.

We need your help to achieve our goals.
